For a car that they had to try at the least, they sure did a nice job.

Like a next gen tiny Golf. I like it!

It’s dancing a weird line between good looking and boring (sort of like the VW Polo), but I’d still take it over the competition.

I prefer the Forte5 SX, but admittedly the Rio is an attractive sub?compact hatch, something that Mazda, Toyota, Subaru, and Ford aren’t even offering in 2017.

This actually looks much less overdesigned than the rival offerings from Toyota and Hyundai. Not bad at all.

Any idea if they’ll do a 3 door again?
The 3 door has been discontinued in the U.K. in the last few months.

It’s almost daring to get away from the six hole face. Joining the headlights and grill into one bar is a good look.

They definitely classed it up a bit. I prefer the new Hyundai i30 though.

You can get a 2017 Yaris or Fiesta though.

Hmm?! I heard the Yaris will be discontinued and Toyota will keep the “iA?”

Toyota will keep selling the Yaris as a hatch and add the Yaris “iA” as their subcompact sedan offering. I’m guessing there will be a new gen Yaris hatch in 2018 and probably still made in France.
